My name is Dennis Hughes, I live locally and own and manage Midland Tune and Service Centre.

My Service Centre is based on a very simple and very old idea: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto yourself”. That’s right – The Golden Rule. Midland Tune and Service operations are based on this rule.

So how does the Golden Rule translate into car servicing?

We specialise in Cars, 4WD’s, Sports utilities and light commercial vehicles.
Your vehicle is washed and cleaned after service, free of charge. I have a reliable loan car for emergencies, free of charge, or we will pick you up and drop you back around the local area.

State of the art technology:
When I have my own family and friends cars serviced I want them serviced as well as to-days technology will allow. And when my customers vehicle leave here,  I want the vehicle to look good, feel good and run well. Car design is evolving fast and I invest in the latest technology to keep up. When we fix cars I know we have the latest information available.
Discretion is used on the cost of all repairs.
On new vehicles under manufacturers warranty, I always ensure we use genuine parts to safeguard the warranty.
On older cars I use my judgment and confer with the customer before any repairs are carried out. I have had old cars myself and so do some of my friends, I am expected to keep the cost of repairs down where possible, but keep the vehicle reliable.

Oils aren’t oils.
I would never put reprocessed oils in my friends or family’s cars and certainly wouldn’t put it in my customers car. We use Mobil semi or fully synthetic oils.

Emergencies happen, this is when you most need a good mechanic.
I promise my customers we will not let them down, if you have an emergency we won’t turn you away because we are busy, we remember the Golden Rule. Personalised attention.
